Our blog is a web log. It's like a classroom journal where the community members of Room 114 can post notes, ideas, and updates. It's an authentic learning experience using technology to communicate. Our blog helps us to practice the writing process. Students will brainstorm, revise, and edit as they create and post.

WE Energies Visits the Fourth Grades as SWG with the Energy Lab to teach electricity, magnetism, and health safety ! Mrs. Mahony's students learned how electricity is produced and how it gets to a home or school with real electrical equipment. All students worked together on teams to conduct circuitry experiments with light bulbs, buzzers and motors. The student scientists documented their experiments in their own Energy Lab booklet, using the scientific method. It was a high energy program with Scientist Haas from WE Energies! Thank you to Mrs. Mahony for scheduling this free program last August!
